In the epic fireside tales of the Chateauguay, the wild alpine terrain that defines our homefarm and vineyard landscapes, there is the luminous story of the Loup d’Or, a golden wolf who is only seen in the twilight hours, a vision on the edge of the forest. When he shakes his thick flaxen coat, the fur dances with a thousand brilliant stars in the evening gloaming. Loup d’Or as a wine speaks of our fruit grown on a clay and limestone slope facing the broad western sky, and is our homage to this splendid beast. Hand-harvested and unfiltered, fermented on glimmering skins, this blonde wine comes from our alpine vineyard thick with Queen Anne’s Lace, wild chrysanthemum, and red-winged blackbirds.
