Our Field Studies family of wines is an exploration of other landscapes in Vermont and partnerships with other farmers.
The Teeth of Artemis is a soft, medium bodied red blend of Marquette and Brianna, a red and a white from our Field Studies project where we collaborate with farmers in Vermont farming grapes in different areas than we do in order to understand more about the varieties of different terroir here.
The vines are coplanted together in a The-Hills-Are-Alive kind of setting at one of the oldest certified organic farms in Vermiont: Lilac Ridge Farm. Hailing from West Brattleboro, on the back side of Round Mountain, grown in limestone and granite, The Teeth of Artemis is a textured expression of these two grapes entwined.
