Our Field Studies family of wines is an exploration of other landscapes in Vermont and partnerships with other farmers.
The Law of Shapes. A charming, bubbly light red, grown by David Keck and Lauren Droege at their vineyards in the foothills of Mount Mansfield. Divided into three parcels, this plot of red grapes, venerable in age, over twenty years old, grows in a field of spring violets and has been witness to a long line of romances and marmalade cats twining between the vines. It hails from that mercurial grape--Frontenac Noir--that shifts its shape from mystery to delight to bright, sparkling stars in the sky.
