Little Forêt returns
to West Addison Sunday.
Over the years, we have found ourselves returning to the same simple idea in different forms: wine is best discovered around a table, with something good to eat and no reason to hurry.
Little Forêt is our seasonal caviste in the Champlain Valley—a place to taste Domaine La Garagista wines, settle in with a glass, enjoy a few seasonal and very cute snacks, and choose bottles to carry home for your own table.
A CAVISTE WITH THE SPIRIT
OF A CAVE À MANGER
In France, a caviste is a wine merchant and wine shop, often a place of conversation and discovery.
A cave à manger takes the idea a little further: a wine shop where you may also sit, drink, and have something simple to eat alongside the wines. You walk in and immediately understand the feeling.
Little Forêt borrows from both traditions. The wine remains at the center: wine to taste, wine to talk about, and wine to take home. The food is there to accompany the bottles and the afternoon.

A few small tastes to enjoy alongside them, drawing from the season.
Come for a flight or a glass. Stay for a little while. Wander among the vines. And leave with bottles for the evenings still to come.
