AT BAR NO'ELLA
Bar No’ella is open this Sunday in Barnard.
Every so often, we like to turn the tavernetta in the carriage barn into the sort of little morning place we wish were waiting for us around the corner: somewhere to stop for coffee, something good from the kitchen, a glass of wine, and a little time at the table.
This Sunday, there will be bread, pastry and panini; the espresso machine will be on; sparkling wines from the domaine will be open; flowers will come in from the garden; and for a few hours, you can come and go as you please.
The wine shop will be open, with bottles from the current cellar selection to take home. Bar No’ella is meant to be both a place to linger for a while and a place to discover bottles to carry home.

Come for coffee. Come for a glass of something sparkling. Come hungry, or simply stop in for a little while on your way through the mountains.
No reservation is necessary, but if you’re thinking of joining us, reply to this email and let us know. It helps us have some idea of how much to prepare.
THE TURNING SEASON
Sunday is also the first pick-up for our newest Forêt Wine Guild collection, The Turning Season: six wines moving through three vintages—2023, 2024 and 2025—gathered at this particular moment in the cellar, with another harvest almost upon us.
Four times each year, Wine Guild members receive a three, six, or twelve-wine collection drawn from the life of the domaine: new releases, wines held back in the cellar, and bottles we want to return to at a particular moment in their lives.
If you’ve been curious about the Guild, The Turning Season is a beautiful collection with which to begin.
Guild members picking up on Sunday will find their wines waiting at Bar No’ella, along with the complimentary sparkling wine flights included with their memberships.

AND THEN HARVEST
The grapes are changing, the berries a kaleidoscope of jewel-like colors.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll once again welcome a small number of friends into the vineyards to help us bring in the fruit. Picking days are determined by ripeness and weather—sometimes with very little notice—and we’ll be sending details soon about how to join our harvest list.
But first, one more Sunday morning at the bar.
