The first red to come from this tiny gem of a vineyard that we took on in 2023, the Red Horse Vineyard at 1700 feet, with a view of even higher mountains. 100% Marquette. Destemmed and lightly infused with the skins, this lighter and very charming red is fruity, cherries and currants, with a memory of deep summer dusty blackberries. The middle of the arc is soft and generous, surprising given its lightness, with a bright end to the story. We are intrigued to see how the wines from this vineyard begin to evolve and show themselves.
